A School of Many Futures final edit is now to readthrough and note-checks. For about 2 weeks it’s going through the story and a final review of the editor’s notes. Then it’s check and publish!

Agile Books: I’m getting a feel for the next book “Agile Writer’s Mindset.” There are tons of books on how to write – I want to explore how to think.

The Way With Worlds series returns in November: That’ll be on Man-Made Disasters (but I’d like to call it something else). The cover changes as noted will be scheduled sometime after the novel drops.

The Seventh Sanctum rewrite made more progress – and I’m doing an internal deployment test. I got more unusual generators done, streamlined the code, and have maybe two or three weird ones left. However I’m testing the deployment out – a side project needs a relaunch, so I can use it to test my deployment. Hard to believe I started this last October, but what a year.

A School of Many Futures second prereader edit is done! Now I’m on to some style checks, then a re-review of editor comments. After that is a final readthrough/grammar check and publishing end of August!

Agile Writing Book: Well I decided to do this, but haven’t made plans yet. I do think it’ll be bingewritten to “keep the fire burning” and will be my next “new content” book. Probably out 2022.

The Way With Worlds series won’t see new books until November. I’m still planning the new covers, probably coming Sept-October.

Other books are actually in drafts – compendiums of various columns. I’m probably going to do something with that over the holidays or for fun. I won’t let it get in the way of other things, but literally I have two books ready to go from keeping past columns and tweaking them.

The Seventh Sanctum rewrite had some major code breakthroughs! I sorted out a lot of oddball generators and tweaked my framework to be more adaptable! There’s only a few more left to do, so wish me luck!

So where are my projects?

Giveaways – Whew, I have quite a few – which includes giveaways for my books and others! Lots of free stuff!

Yeah, I kinda went far.

A School of Many Futures final edit is on to the second prereader feedback. Then it’s on to some content review, style tightening, grammar check, and then publishing! August looks good for the ebook!

Agile Books: My next big project will be on Agile and Writing – from a mindset point of view. There will be some techniques, but mostly ones to help think about writing more effectively.

The Way With Worlds series is on hold yet not. No new books until November – but I plan to start redoing covers and some content in September or so. I’ve got 18 books to update . . .

The Seventh Sanctum rewrite continues to target the “weird” generators. However, I am taking some time to map out my code more so it’s easier to add the final set of features. The good news is the code I wrote supports even the “oddball” generators much better as it’s more adaptable.
