First, the giveaways I’m in!

Now the update!

A School Of Many Futures: Finished editing to the halfway point, and with a good sense of it, I’m doing a final outline to guide my writing. Still on track to have it ready for pre-reading in May, and publish late August.

Way With Worlds: I’ve got the book on natural disasters partially outlined, and need to finish that up. The other books in the series (man-made disasters and general disasters) will come next. This should be a great themed “run” for my books and I want to get one out in May when the prereaders are doing their things.

Seventh Sanctum: I took a break and am back at it, reviewing code and starting to add the more “weird” generator configurations. Hang in there, because here we go . . .

General: Still considering the “pile of blog posts” books I have. I will get them out, but am debating how much to edit and cut. Maybe I need more prereaders . . .

A School Of Many Futures: Still on track for May prereaders. Currently to chapter 5 of 14, but have to say 5 and 6 are weak and need to be revised – maybe combined. Still, its on track and I think you’ll love it.

Way With Worlds: I’m outlining the next 3 books, and as I said, all are about disasters. I’m planning to do one on Natural disasters, one on Man-Made, and one in general. Part of the idea is to give you ideas for NEW ways to torment your cast (hey, who things of subsiding land or hacked water systems?)

Seventh Sanctum: The generator inventory is done. I could probably convert 70-80% over of the near-200 I have easy. But now it’s time to tear into the weirder ones – oh and open a repository to share code with a friend whos helping.

Now the update!

  • Way With Worlds: The plans are shaping up – I’m going to do Disasters, and I’ll try to do one on Natural Disasters, one on Man-Made Disasters, and one on Disasters And Response. Disasters are a surprisingly deep subject. I plan to get at least two out this year.
  • A School Of Many Futures: Deep into the rewrite (chapter 3 of 14 is done tomorrow if all goes well). My goal is a May prereader release, then binge-edit June for a release in August.
  • Seventh Sanctum: Base error checking is done in the generators. So next up is to A) ship the code to a friend who’s a Python expert, and B) inventory the “oddball” generators to work on those.
