Gonna try to bring these updates back here for my readers. I’ve changed the newsletter up to be a little more personal, so I’m going to do my more “businesslike” status here!

  • COVID-19: My second shot of vaccine should be fully effective now – but I’m keeping up all safety protocols to protect people (there’s some evidence you might be able to carry). But the numbers look good, so I’m hopefuly.
  • Way With Worlds: The History worldbook is out! So go on and enjoy!
  • A School Of Many Futures: Just waiting on my editor!
  • Seventh Sanctum: I finally solved the problems with the advanced generators. This will run maybe 60% of the site – but now I have to tackle the generators with unusual configurations and the like. So it’s moving forward, but now I’m on to the weird stuff.
  • Blog: With my conspiracy theory analysis done, I don’t have any new series on the horizon. Let’s see what happens.
  • General:  Still trying to relax and take time off – and yes, I failed at taking time off. I’m also kicking around a few side book projects to cleanse my mind – more as I mess around

Let’s catch up on all my latest efforts!

  • Way With Worlds: The Conspiracy is off to the editor!  I hope to get it back in a week or two, so still hopeful for end of May!  Look out for it, we got another hot one for you worldbuilders to read!
  • A School Of Many Futures: The new Chapter 4 is written, and I gave chapters 1-3 another edit.  The book is much more solid, and I think you’ll be really pleased.
  • Seventh Sanctum:  Still working on training myself in Python.  My initial attempt to learn Python as I rewrote the site was too hard, so I’m training “upward” and am doing much better.  Now I’m back to figuring data structures, and after that . . .
  • General: I’ve resumed gathering my old writing columns together.  I might get a few books out of them, because I’ve written a lot.  A few re-edits and some new content and you might get some new books!

What’s next?

  • Way With Worlds: A break while my editor works on the book, and hopefully I can get it early so I can work on getting it out!
  • A School Of Many Futures: Heavy edit of the new Chapter 4, then blaze through the rest of the book.  I may need some pre-readers in June . . .
  • Seventh Sanctum:  Practicing away. but also I might just do a new generator after thinking of certain fictional terms for characters . . .

Hey everyone let’s catch up on my projects!

So what have I done since last time?

  • Way With Worlds: The Conspiracy book first draft is done! We’re closing in on a release!
  • A School Of Many Futures: I’ve rewritten chapters 1-3 and am now finishing a “new” chapter 4.
  • Seventh Sanctum: Grinding away on my python education, focusing more on Python training. But I also got hideously interrupted as noted.

What’s next?

  • Way With Worlds: Edit the Conspiracy book – and maybe even get it off to my editor!
  • A School Of Many Futures: Finish the new Chapter 4 then keep into the rewrite. I’ve decided to push this out another month (meaning it’s about 3 months later than intended) so it’ll be January/February 2021.
  • Seventh Sanctum: Getting back to my work after some pretty awful interruptions. I may not be where I want, but I am learning.
