Steve’s Update 2/4/2019

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.com and Steve’s Tumblr.  Find out more at my newsletter.)

February is here everyone, so let’s catch up on my projects!

So what have I done the last week(s)?

  • A Bridge To The Quiet Planet: The print copy is out! I’ve got to tweak the blurb (for some reason it got mangled), but it’s done! And don’t forget, it’s in ebook format! Also be sure to check out this free world guide!
  • Way With Worlds: The Cities book is just chugging along. Probably not much to say on this as these take me about 2-3 months to do at a go.
  • Brainstorm Book: I’ve got this ready for my Grammarly check!
  • Seventh Sanctum: A new generator is in the works! Let’s just say it’s a moral one . . .
  • Expanding My Publishing: Continues! I’ve got it all over like Nook, Kobo, Apple, and at Itch.io!
  • Other: Not much right now. Mostly focused this week on chores!

What’s next?

  • A Bridge To The Quiet Planet: Well, I guess it’s done! So not much else to do except fix that blurb!
  • Way With Worlds: Writing. Really, you’re just gonna hear about that. Maybe I need a count.
  • Expanding My Publishing: Sit on this for awhile, then maybe add other books.
  • Brainstorm Book: I’ll try to finish this one up, but it may take more than a week.
  • Seventh Sanctum: I’ll keep working on the generator. Hopefully we’ll get a preview soon . . .
  • Other: Updating my press site with new graphics and links to all the new publishing options, plus some marketing stuff.

Steve’s Update 1/28/2019

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.com and Steve’s Tumblr.  Find out more at my newsletter.)

Hello everyone! Well the holiday may be over, but I’m plugging away as always!

So what have I done the last week(s)?

  • A Bridge To The Quiet Planet: The print copy editing is done! One quick approval on the final copy, and we’re good, so look for an announcement soon! Also remember it’s in in ebook format! Also be sure to check out this free world guide!
  • Way With Worlds: Doing the Cities book. Not much else to say, though I’m thinking I may post samples in my newsletter!
  • Seventh Sanctum: Didn’t get to doing any new generators, but am tweaking the Nexus!
  • Expanding My Publishing: Continues! I’ve got it all over like Kobo, and at Itch.io.
  • Other: Working on my upcoming plans.

What’s next?

  • A Bridge To The Quiet Planet: Approving the final print copy. I may start some marketing.
  • Way With Worlds: Still writing, so don’t expect much change on that front for a month or so
  • Expanding My Publishing: I hope to have it all done!
  • Other: Not much right now. I hope to get to the Brainstorm Book, but starts of month get busy. I also plan to return to my code upgrade experiments around the middle of the month.

Steve’s Update 1/12/2018

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.com and Steve’s Tumblr.  Find out more at my newsletter.)

Hello everyone! Well the holiday may be over, but I’m plugging away as always!

So what have I done the last week(s)?

  • A Bridge To The Quiet Planet: Is selling in ebook format while I go through the physical copy.
  • Way With Worlds: I’ve started writing the next book – on Cities! That’ll probably be out in March! Also I’ve started expanding the book distributions, so expect more updates later.
  • Seventh Sanctum: Not much here, the week got busy.
  • Other: I started formatting the worldbook for “A Bridge To The Quiet Planet” to get ready for free distribution in a few weeks! I think you’ll love it!

What’s next?

  • A Bridge To The Quiet Planet: I plan to finish the final print review this week, and a likely update to the ebook files. Then it’s one more print copy and hopefully we’re good!
  • Way With Worlds: Still writing and expanding the book distribution. Once that’s done I’ll post an update (though it’s probably two or thee weeks away as some distribution methods take time)
  • Seventh Sanctum: Mostly trying to start my new code plans. I may not have many updates on that part for awhile, but then again its part of a larger effort to try some new stuff. I don’t expect the new codebase to be out for a year.
